City Hall, Clinton Fire Department Building Safety Division, and the Clinton Public Library will be closed to walk-in traffic, and the administrative offices at the Ericksen Community Center will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 for staff development.  All phone calls will be returned on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, when normal office hours will resume.

The Rec Fitness Center at the Ericksen Community Center will remain open on Monday, January 19, 2026 with KISI App access.  All evening programming at the Ericksen Community Center will take place as scheduled.

The MTA Administrative offices will be open on Monday, January 19, 2026 (regular scheduled hours).  All bus routes and para transit services will be operational on Monday, January 19, 2026.

The Administrative offices at the Police Department will be open on Monday, January 19, 2026 (regular scheduled hours).

Garbage and recycling collection will NOT be delayed.  Collection will take place as scheduled on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Road Construction Notice: Starting March 18, 2025, the Manufacturing Drive Project will begin, bringing improvements to road conditions, safety, and traffic flow. 

What you need to know:

Road Closures & Detours: Manufacturing Drive will be closed to through traffic between Highway 30 and College Avenue. Use South 14th Street and Highway 30 as detour routes. Expect delays and plan ahead.

Access to Local Businesses: Businesses on Manufacturing Drive will remain open! Please use alternate routes:

- South 14th St to 13th Ave South for Today’s Dental, Metal Tech, All Pets Mobile Clinic & Lundin’s Auto Spa.

- Highway 30 to South 19th St for IMS Chiropractic, Clinton Floral, China One & Ray’s Timeout.

- Highway 30 to Harrison Dr to South 21st St for Right Lane Motors, SJ Smith, Awesome Car Wash, Laundry Max, and Eastern Iowa Tire.

Clear signage will guide drivers and customers. Emergency vehicles will have access as needed.
