This Department is responsible for providing safe, accessible, economical and efficient public transportation service to the citizens of the City of Clinton, Iowa. All services are open to the general public, including persons with disabilities. The Municipal Transit Administration (MTA) offers the following types of service:
- Fixed Route for the general Public
- Para transit door-to-door service for those who are ADA eligible.
Days / Hours of Operation
Fixed Route:
- Monday through Friday, 6 am to 6 pm
- Saturday 8 am to 3:30 pm
Organizational Structure
The MTA is administered by a Transportation Director who is responsible for both the Transportation and Fleet Maintenance Departments for the City of Clinton and who reports to the City Administrator. Policy direction is provided by the city council.
Special Features / Highlights
MTA provides its own para transit service. All routes are fully ADA accessible. All services are open to the general public.
