Community Catalyst Building Remediation Program

The Community Catalyst Building Remediation Program assists communities with the redevelopment or rehabilitation of buildings to stimulate economic growth or reinvestment in the community and is administered by the Iowa Economic Development Authority ("IEDA"). 

Award Amount

Maximum grant amount of $100,000. 

Qualification

One application per Iowa community per funding cycle. Funds available for the rehabilitation of one commercial building per community or two buildings with the same ownership that are adjacent. Deconstruction is allowed in dire situations or for safety reasons.

Application Process

The applicant must be the City of Clinton and provide financial and/or in-kind resources. Developers interested in this opportunity should reach out to the City Administrator

Requirements

Applicants must complete and submit a pre-application form to the City Clerk's office no later than September 1, 2023.
